FREMONT — Police were at the scene of a water main break Wednesday afternoon near Interstate 880 that closed at least one lane of a city street with no estimated time of reopening.
Around 1:40 p.m., police said lanes of northbound Fremont Boulevard between Cushing Parkway and West Warren Avenue were affected by flooding due to a damaged water main.
“We have no expected time for the issue to be resolved,” police said, “and this could affect the evening commute.”
