Strictly star James Cracknell has been spotted snogging his new girlfriend just a month after his divorce was finalised

The Olympic rower, 47, was seen locking lips with Cambridge University student Jordan Connell, believed to be in her thirties, this weekend.

They had previously rumoured to have been dating, but they now appear to have made their romance official.

James and Jordan were seen strolling hand-in-hand through a London park as they made the most of the sunny weather over the bank holiday weekend.

Pictures show them sitting down on a wooden bench and leaning in for a passionate kiss.

The date comes a month after James' divorce from Beverley Turner, 45, was finalised in July.

The former couple were married for 17 years and had three children together, but called time on their relationship in March.

They married in 2002 and are parents to Coryde, Kiki and Trixie.

The split was confirmed in a statement: “We can confirm that sadly we separated last year. Together, we remain committed to our amazing children, they are our absolute priority.”

James added the pair did everything they could to save their marriage, but it just didn't work.

He said: "We're also, as any couple is, different people from who you were 17 years ago and we can look back and say we did everything."

Several months after the split, reports suggested James had been growing close to finance student Jordan, who is part of a university cheerleading team.

A source told the Mail Online: "They have become very close and since his marriage break up there are few people who would deny him the support of an attractive young woman.

"The end of James' marriage to Bev has been amicable and friendly but there's always going to be regret and maybe loneliness when something like that happens so it's great he's going his own way."
