Do your kids dread the thought of bath time?

Is it an absolute nightmare trying to get them to take a wash?

Well, if you answered yes to those, we might have just found a simple solution for you - and it's all thanks to one mum.

A woman named Vicky has shared her cool trick for making baths a bit more fun for the little ones and it won't cost you much money to try it yourself at home.

It looks like great fun!

In a post on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page, the mum revealed that she turns her bath tub into a "disco bath".

And it only cost her 59p to do.

So how does she do it?

Vicky simply purchased some glow sticks from Home Bargains, ran a bubble bath for her daughter and then chucked a few lit glow sticks into the water then turned out all the lights, illuminating the bath, making it look bright and colourful.

She said: "59p glow sticks from Home Bargains and we have a disco bath. Non-toxic, non-flammable and for my daughter's bath I checked the packaging, made sure it wasn't too hot and checked for any splits [in the glow stick]. She loved it!"

Over 2,000 people liked her post, with hundreds of people commenting to share their thoughts.

Many were on board with the idea and admitted they planned to try it out for themselves.

"What a fantastic idea," replied one mum.

Another wrote: "This looks ace!"

A third added: "I'm definitely taking this fab idea!"

However there were some people that thought it could be a health and safety risk for the kids, so they suggested buying products actually designed to go in a bath, such as a waterproof disco ball sold in B&M.
