A British female kickboxer nicknamed the "Pretty Killer" and her boyfriend floored two moped robbers who stole a £25,000 watch from a dad with kids in Majorca.

Double world champion Iman Barlow, 26, and Stan Stannard, a boxer, chased down the assailants as they watched the attack unfold on the Spanish holiday island.

Ms Barlow, who has 36 knockouts in her career, delivered a signature kick to one of the robbers and Mr Stannard, 23, gave the man a left hook, knocking him to the floor.

The couple, who live in Melton Mowbray, were able to pin down the thugs and hold them for 10 minutes until the police arrived, Leicestershire Live reports.

Muay thai fighting champion Ms Barlow and Mr Stannard, a middleweight who is turning pro, watched the robbery unfold as the assailants pulled up on a scooter, grabbed the victim's wrist and stole his expensive watch.

One of the robbers hit the dad with his helmet as the Brits looked on near their hotel in Palma Nova on Saturday.

But as the thugs tried to flee the couple gave chase and knocked both of them to the floor.

The couple had been on holiday with Ms Barlow's brother, Thai, and two other fighters from Melton’s Assassins Muay Thai Boxing club.

Ms Barlow, who is training for a fight on October 12, said: "We had just checked out of our hotel when one of the group said there was a fight going on about 50 metres away from where we were.

“These two lads jumped off a scooter and while one held the man’s wrist the other took his watch off.

"One of them was hitting the victim and others around him with his helmet.

“They ran off and as one went past me I kicked him in the chest to slow him down.

“He carried on running and then a young girl shouted ‘he’s got my dad’s watch’ so Stan ran after him and hit him with a left hand punch, knocking him to the floor.”

Ms Barlow said she and Mr Stannard reacted on "instinct" and the victim's wife both thanked them afterwards and gave them each a 50 euro reward, which they reluctantly accepted.

They used the cash to treat their party to lunch.

She added: “Afterwards you start thinking he could have had a knife or a gun but instinct just kicked in at the time.

“The victim’s wife thanked us for what we had done and gave us 50 euros which we didn’t want to accept at first, but she refused to let us leave without it.

“We used it to have burgers all round for lunch, which we were grateful for because we were about spent up after the holiday.

“When I told my dad what had happened he loved it. He couldn’t believe it but he was happy that we got involved.

“My training definitely helped me have the confidence to do something when the robbery was happening.”

Ms Barlow has 88 wins in her kickboxing career, with 36 of them by knockout.

Mr Stannard's first professional boxing bout is scheduled to take place on September 21.
