A crook who shared a TripAdvisor-style police cell review has been given the chance to review prison again after he was locked up again for living the high life with a stolen bank card.

Christian Willoughby, 37, managed to correctly guess the PIN of a card he had stolen and subsequently conducted a spending spree of £1,300, including a hotel stay in Derbyshire, Grimsby Live reports .

The criminal jumped inside a car he had stolen after finding the keys in a woman's bag when he rifled through the belongings of musicians as they performed on stage at Grimsby Central Hall last month, a court heard.

Willoughby, who had 68 previous offences, took photographs of his Grimsby police station cell in 2016 and posted a four-star review on Facebook .

He wrote: "I've given this place 4 stars. It's the all-day breakfast that lets it down really.

"Apart from that, the staff are pleasant enough. Had my own en-suite room and butler who would come with tea and newspapers.

"Room was nice, the minimalistic idea was a nice touch.

"It was secure and safe. Quadruple glazing and security door. Ideal place for winding down after a hard day. I'd definitely come back."

Joker Christian Willoughby described the cell as "minimalistic" adding that this style was "a nice touch" (

The lawbreaker, who was previously jailed in March for 20 weeks for another burglary, was jailed for two-and-a-half years at Grimsby Crown Court after admitting burglary, fraud, stealing a car, three counts of theft offences and driving while banned and without having insurance on May 12.

Prosecutor Nigel Clive said Willoughby went into the changing areas at the music hall while the show was ongoing and searched several bags.

Mr Clive added that Willoughby stole bank card and keys, got into a Mercedes valued at £23,000 and drove off to Matlock Bath in Derbyshire, where he stayed in a hotel.

He even masked up the car's registration plate in a bid to evade detection.

The crook withdrew hundreds of pounds in cash, bought Lottery tickets and got cashback.

The crook also reviewed the toilet standards in his funny TripAdvisor style posted on Facebook (

Overall, he spent £1,300 in a very short period of time by guessing the PIN from the personal details on a driving licence in a car.

The woman who owned the car, which was not damaged by Willoughby, was left without transportation for about nine days.

Chris Dickins, mitigating, said Willoughby committed the offences opportunistically on impulse.

He said: "He did go to Matlock Bath, where he stayed in a hotel and he drove back to Grimsby."

He added that Willoughby spent most of his money feeding his crack cocaine habit and on alcohol.

""He is desperate to break the cycle of crime, drugs and prison.

"He has not been employed for five years."
