Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier could still be in line for a move to Italy with Juventus this summer - but only if Manchester City sign Joao Cancelo.

After a mixed season for Spurs, Trippier is expected to move on in the summer with Serie A a league that the England international has been regularly linked with.

However, it appeared that the 28-year-old's hopes of a switch to Italy had been ended when Napoli cooled their interest in the former Burnley man.

But reports in the Times suggest Trippier could now move to Juventus if the Italian champions lose Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo to City.

It is thought the 28-year-old will command a fee of £30m should he leave north London this summer, with Atletico Madrid another club said to be interested in his services.

After being one of England's star players during their run to last summer's World Cup, Trippier has been unable to replicate that form for his club this term.

That said, losing the 28-year-old would still be seen as a blow for Tottenham as boss Mauricio Pochettino looks to capitalise on the club being runners-up in last season's Champions League.

Speaking after that defeat to Liverpool in the final in Madrid earlier this month, Trippier refused to dampen speculation linking him with a move away from Spurs.

When asked about his future, Trippier responded: "I don't know. I go home now, spend time with my family, just recover after a long, difficult season. Everybody's got a decision to make, no matter what.

"Obviously this club has been very good for me over the last few years but I'll enjoy my summer, come back in pre-season and that's when I'll sit down with the manager and have a talk about my future.

"I see a lot of speculation about me not being here. I give everything, 100 per cent every game, win lose or draw. So we'll see what happens in pre-season."

Should Trippier complete a move to Juventus, he would become one of Maurizio Sarri's first signings for the Italian champions after the 60-year-old left Chelsea to take over in the hotseat at the Allianz Stadium.
