Daniel Sturridge, James Milner and Roberto Firmino stole the headlines on Tuesday as Liverpool beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 - and rightly so.

All three scored and contributed to the game in their own way as the Reds picked up all three points from the Champions League Group C clash.

But praise for them overshadowed the effort of one of their team-mates - namely, Jordan Henderson.

The England midfielder came in to the starting XI for summer addition Naby Keita, and it proved to be a shrewd move by Jurgen Klopp.

Three days on from Liverpool's win and one fan has shared a sequence of play from the first half, showing exactly why Henderson was also deserved of praise.

The footage shows Henderson winning the the ball back for the Reds in an impressively short space of time.

A crunching slide tackle wins possession back for Liverpool the first time, before Henderson dashes in to intercept only moments later.

Play continues and as PSG look like they could break with Neymar, Henderson lunges in and brilliantly wins the ball once again.

He even took out Joe Gomez in the process. Fantastic effort from the Reds skipper.
