Trent Alexander-Arnold has vowed to use the money he has earned from a new boot deal to help communities in Liverpool .

Reds right back Alexander-Arnold is set to put pen to paper on a lucrative four-year contract with American manufacturer Under Armour.

While the exact figure of the agreement is not know it is thought to be worth into the millions, although not as high as the previously reported £6.4million.

But instead of pocketing the extra cash away on top of his Liverpool contract, Alexander-Arnold is looking to invest the money in the local community.

Alexander-Arnold is hoping to buy land in the area and build facilities such as football pitches across the north west city, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Alexander-Arnold is a proud Liverpudlian having joined his local club aged 12 before going on to make his senior debut in the 2016/17 season.

The full-back has played 74 times for Jurgen Klopp's men and was named the club's Young Player of the Season in the last two years.

Alexander-Arnold signed a lucrative five-year contract at Anfield in January, having been part of the England squad which reached the World Cup semi-finals, which will keep him at the outfit until 2024.

“I'm just fortunate to play for my boyhood club and for people to be able to see that dreams can come true,"  he told the Liverpool Echo back in November last year. "Hopefully the younger people in the city see it too.

"I saw Gerrard and [Jamie] Carragher do it when I was young. I always wanted to be them. The aim is for more young Scousers to come through the Academy and do the same."
