Juventus chief Fabio Paratici has admitted the club are "very fond" of Paul Pogba as the Bianconeri continued to be linked with a return for the Frenchman.

Pogba has revealed his desire to leave Manchester United this summer after a tumultuous campaign at Old Trafford.

And Juve are confident of sealing a deal for his services, three years after selling him to United for £89million.

Pogba was named in the PFA Team of the Year in 2018-19 - the only player from outside of Liverpool and Manchester City to be included.

But it was a testing campaign which saw him have a very public fallout with boss Jose Mourinho before the Portuguese was ultimately axed in December.

Pogba enjoyed an impressive upturn in form following the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as caretaker boss, but fell away again towards the end of the season as the Red Devils slipped out of contention for a top-four spot.

He is now keen on a new challenge, and Juve sporting director Paratici has added fuel to the fire.

When asked about Pogba and PSG's Adrien Rabiot, he said: "Pogba and Rabiot are two good players.

“Pogba we are very fond of, but he is a player of Manchester United.

“On Rabiot there are so many teams, we are not looking only at him.”
