It's been 50 years since the Apollo 11 flight landed the first humans on the Moon, but you don't need to be an astronaut to relive the experience.

In fact, thanks to a quirky listing on Airbnb you can follow in the footsteps of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and have your very own stay inside a spacecraft!

But before science fans get too excited, it's not a real spacecraft - but it is a replica of the Apollo 11.

Host Paul built it himself from scratch, but instead of computers and equipment, inside you'll find a cosy bed, microwave, shower, sink and toilet.

And while you're not going to be on the moon, the surroundings are spectacular in their own way.

That's because the quirky glamping pod is located in the heart of the Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve in Pukaki, New Zealand.

It's a pretty cool overnight stay for space fans (

Think sweeping landscapes and breathtaking natural landmarks, including views of the picturesque Mount Cook - the remote location does leave you feeling like you've stepped onto a completely new planet too.

Oh, and of course the area is renowned for its incredible night skies where light pollution is virtually non-existent, meaning there are some pretty spectacular starry skies to be found.

It has a clear roof so you can take in views of the skies from your bed (

Take in the views from the outdoor seating area, or if you're feeling lazy then head inside and watch the stars through the Perspex roof, from the comfort of your bed.

The Apollo 11 replica sleeps up to two guests and it's ideal if you're on a budget as prices start from $11 a night (approximately £8.81), although this doesn't include applicable taxes and fees.
