JACKSON, MI – Four juveniles are believed to be associated with a shooting Sunday afternoon in Jackson, police said.

Jackson police responded to a report of shots fired around 4 p.m., Oct. 13 near Third and Morrell streets, Jackson Police and Fire Director Elmer Hitt said.

A house in the 800 block of Third Street was hit by a bullet, Hitt said. A handgun believed to be used in the shooting was found in the 600 block of W. Biddle, Hitt said.

The four juveniles were found in the 500 block of Third Street, Hitt said. They were identified and are believed to be associated with the shooting, he said.

No injuries were reported and no victims said they were shot at, Hitt said.
