CONCORD, MI – Concord Community Schools is one of 250 school districts in the U.S. and Canada named to an honor roll recognizing progress in Advanced Placement classes.

The 10th annual AP District Honor Roll from the College Board recognizes those schools that have increased the number of students participating in AP classes while also increasing or maintaining a score of three or higher on AP tests.

Concord increased the number of students earning a score of three or higher from two and three in 2017 and 2018, respectively, to 15 in 2019, Superintendent Dan Funston said.

“Concord High School has done a great job providing challenging coursework to our students through the College Board’s Advanced Placement program,” Funston said in a news release. “We’re proud of our students’ success and the increase in passing scores on the AP exams. Our teachers and principal are working hard to continue this growth.”
