FLINT, MI — Once the first goal was scored, Flint Powers Catholic boys soccer team did not let up.
Two more were scored in less than two minutes, and they just kept coming.
The Chargers kept Montrose on their toes, as each goal was scored by a different player, including Aaron Maiorana, Luke Hendler, Nick Navarre, Will Tucker, Gabe Zick, Luke Mattar, Zephaniah Turner and Brent Zloto.
Powers Catholic shut out Montrose 8-0 in the Division 3 district semifinal on Monday, Oct. 14 at Kettering University's Atwood Stadium.
The Chargers are now 8-7-3.
