Who says Michigan is just a football school?

Both basketball teams (the men, and women), ice hockey, softball and baseball teams are on quite the roll at the moment, making for interesting times in the Wolverines’ athletic department.

The guys discuss all of the recent success in this week’s “Wolverine Confidential” podcast from MLive.

First, though, they dive into John Beilein’s abrupt departure from the NBA and Cleveland Cavaliers. Might Beilein’s coaching career be over?

From there, they recap the men’s basketball team’s recent surge (including a key road win at Rutgers), the chances the women’s basketball team has of reaching the NCAA tournament, early wins for baseball and softball, and a familiar run by the hockey team.

The podcast ends with some football talk, including a preview of next week’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
