Cords Cable Industries gains on approval as vendor for Raipur Development Authority

The company received approval as a vendor for supplying 1.1 KV grade of instrumentation, control and power cables.

Cords Cable Industries shares gained half a percent on after the company registered as an approved vendor for Raipur Development Authority, Chhattisgarh.

The company received approval as a vendor for supplying 1.1 KV grade of instrumentation, control and power cables.

"This approval is valid for a period of three years and it shall enable Cords Cable Industries to offer its approved list of cables towards the ongoing and upcoming projects of Raipur Development Authority (RDA)," the company said in its filing.

In addition, in accordance to the initial order received thus far for RDA's sewage treatment plant; company will be supplying its approved cables towards RDA STP Project, Raipur, it added.

At 09:49 hours IST, the stock was quoting at Rs 60.00, up Rs 0.30, or 0.50 percent on the BSE.
