The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum still has space available for summer camps through July 26.

With age specific curriculum, campers spend a week exploring five continents with fun-packed, educational experiences and a summer wildlife adventure that will never be forgotten.  If you are looking for a program that guarantees your child will not only have a lot of fun, but learn something along the way, then Montgomery Zoo’s Summer Camp is what you have been looking for.

This year’s theme, Camp Zoonique, will focus on the Zoo’s many animals, their habitats and five senses and compare them to us as humans.  Each day will be dedicated to a specific type of animals from our feathered friends to those with scales.

“Our goal for the summer camp program is for each child to discover what makes them unique and how they can contribute to taking care of the world’s animal population,” Steve Pierce, Program Services Manager explained.  “All activities are focused on keeping kids engaged and continue to sharpen their skills in Reading, Science, Geography, critical thinking, team building, and more.”

Campers get treats to feed the otters during summer camp at the Montgomery Zoo.
