11 games involving local teams moved to Thursday

With bad weather predicted for Friday, 11 games involving Montgomery-area teams will be played early.

Three are games being played in Montgomery County: Beulah at Pike Road, Bullock County at Montgomery Academy and Headland at Catholic. One will be played in Autauga County: Bibb County at Marbury.

The annual Lowndes Throwdown — Central-Hayneville at Calhoun — will also be Thursday.

St. James will travel to Southside-Selma, Trinity will visit BTW-Tuskegee and Billingsley goes to Lanett a day earlier than planned.

In Crenshaw County, Luverne will host Samson and Highland Home will host Goshen on Thursday. Highland Home will try to clinch the Class 2A, Region 3 championship. Also, Georgiana will travel to Red Level on Thursday.

Those are in addition to the four games planned for Thursday all along Autauga Academy at Edgewood, Escambia Academy at Lowndes Academy, Park Crossing meeting G.W. Carver and Pike Liberal Arts at Success Unlimited.
