July 3:
5-11 p.m. — Ouray Volunteer Fire Department Fourth-of-July Kickoff Concert featuring AJ Fullerton with You Knew me When at Fellin Park, 1001 US-550, Ouray. Family and dog friendly concert benefiting the fire department. There is a $5 entry fee and there will be food sodas, beer, wine and mixed drinks available.
July 4:
All day — Fourth of July Celebration at Telluride Town Park, 500 E. Colorado Ave., Telluride. Telluride's annual Fourth of July Celebration on Main Street begins at 11 a.m. with the annual parade followed by a fireman's picnic in the park with games and events.
7 a.m. — Ouray School Pancake Breakfast at the Ouray Community Center, 320 Sixth Ave., Ouray. All proceeds support the school.
8 a.m. — The 36th Annual OURAYCE 10k race for Ouray Schools. Registration is from 7-8 a.m. and the race begins at city hall, 320 Sixth Ave., Ouray, and goes into the hills and back through Ouray. Entry fee is $15. For more information and to sign up, visit bit.ly/2FBT5ZF.
8-10:30 a.m. — The Rundola — Telluride’s Fourth of July Foot Race. Run, hike or crawl from the base of the gondola to the top of lift seven. For more information and to register, visit bit.ly/2NrPbJg.
10 a.m. — Fourth of July Main Street Parade on Main Street Ouray. Free kids games will be available at 11 a.m. in Fellin Park, 1001 US-550, Ouray.
11 a.m. — Patriotic Parade starts at Fifth and Main streets and concludes at Main Street and Highway 65, Cedaredge.
11 a.m. — Brownies and lemonade at the Ouray County Historical Society Museum, 321 Sherman St., Ridgway.
11 a.m. — Ouray Elks Lodge #492 Barbeque, Building Tours and Independence Day Karaoke at the Elks Lodge, 421 Main St., Ouray.
11 a.m.- 8 p.m. — July 4th David Mensch at Goldbelt Bar and Grill, 800 Main St., Ouray. There will be two shows one after the parade at 11 a.m. and another at 4 p.m.
Noon-3 p.m. — Live music at Cedaredge Park, SW Fifth St., Cedaredge.
1 p.m. — Ouray Volunteer Fire Department Water Fights at Main Street and Sixth Avenue. Watch as teams of two battle it out with full pressure fire hoses of freezing water.
2-9 p.m. — Cherry Days July 4th featuring Clifton Hanger and The Scones at Big B’s Juices, Hard Ciders and Delicious Orchards, 39126 Highway 133, Hotchkiss.
3-10 p.m. — Fourth of July with Wild Adriatic at Jorgenson Park, 701-799 E. Tomichi Ave., Gunnison.
4 p.m. — Fourth of July annual parade on Main Street from North Pythian Avenue to South Rio Grande Avenue.
5 p.m. — Fourth of July Picnic in the Park at Cerise Park hosted by the City of Montrose. Grab your picnic fare and head down to the park for live music by Ulterior Motive, beer and wine, bounce houses, face painting, classic yard games and an apple pie eating contest.
6-9 p.m. — Silverton’s July 4th Celebration featuring headlining act, Neon Sky.
6-9 p.m. — Fourth of July at Arrowhead Mountain Lodge, 21401 Alpine Plateau Road, Cimarron. Live music will be performed by Tony Rosario and Michael Reese.
8:30 p.m. — Jeep “Glow” Parade in Ouray pull out below amphitheater turn-off, Highway 550. The showing starts down the hill and through Ouray.
Dusk — Fireworks display, by The City of Montrose, from Sunset Mesa.
Dark — Firework display in Ouray put on by the Ouray Volunteer Fire Department. Seating is good along Main Street and Fellin Park.
9:30 p.m. — Music After Dark featuring Farmer in the Sky at STEPS Tavern, 630 Sherman St., Ridgway. Cover is $5, and the show is 21 and older.
July 5:
6 p.m. — Montrose Summer Music Series with Mason Lively at Black Canyon Golf Course. Donny Morales and the Big Wind opens. Gates open at 5 p.m. No glass, coolers or outside alcohol.
8 p.m. — Neon Sky plays RnR Sportsbar, 35 N. Uncompahgre Ave., Montrose, as part of the holiday weekend.
9 p.m. — Donny Morales and the Big Wind play the Montrose Summer Music Series after party at Intrinzik, 512 E. Main St., Montrose.
July 6:
6-9 p.m. — Paul Chamberlain is set to play Horsefly Brewery, 846 E. Main St., Montrose, as part of the Fourth of July weekend celebrations.
