(11/14/18) Dozens of applicants waiting to learn whether they’ll be picked to sell medical marijuana in Arkansas, will have to wait at least a few more weeks.

At a meeting Tuesday, an outside firm hired by the state’s Medical Marijuana Commission said it hopes to finish grading dispensary applications by mid-December.

They’ll narrow down the list of applicants to 32 who’ll be allowed to sell medical cannabis.

Meanwhile the commission approved denial letters for several companies who applied to grow medical marijuana in Arkansas.

Those companies may try to appeal the denials in court.
