The Louisiana Holiday Trail of Lights has laid out its schedule for the holidays. Popular holiday traditions such as the children’s parade and outdoor movie nights will return.
Candy Cane Lane is one of the newer addition returns to Calhoun. It’s a drive-thru Christmas tour featuring one million lights displays and tunnels.

Organizers are hopeful they’ll be a magnet for tourists too.

“We’re expecting people to come into the area and really experience the holiday traditions that we have in our cities,” said Sheila Snow, Vice President of Communication Monroe-West Monroe Convention & Visitors Bureau. “We’re expecting kids and families to come in and enjoy all the things that we have going on, We hope to have an impact on our economy.”
