Dane Robert DeRousse, 35, of Festus died June 29, 2019, in Festus. Mr. DeRousse served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Operation Iraq Freedom campaign. Born Jan. 19, 1984, in St. Louis, he was the son of Jodi L. (Dave) Davis Politte of Festus and Frankie Lee (Pat) DeRousse of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Jacklyn Louise (Harris) DeRousse; two sons: Candan and Ryler DeRousse; three daughters: Cali, Frankie, and Maya DeRousse; his grandparents: Donna Davis of Festus and Joanne DeRousse of Festus; two brothers: Cody (fiancée Whitney Lemons) DeRousse of Crystal City and Alex Politte of Festus; two sisters: Karlie (Ryon Melton) Politte of Festus and Brittany DeRousse of Festus; and numerous other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by two grandparents: Robert Davis, Elaine Davis and Franklin DeRousse.
Visitation is at 9 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for noon Friday, July 5, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Randy Gray. Burial with full military honors is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
