Book Sale At Verona Pool

The Friends of the Verona Public Library will host a book sale at the Verona Pool on Saturday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale is only open to Verona Pool members & guests.

Gently used fiction titles will be available for adults, children and teens. Trade paperbacks will be $1 each, mass market paperbacks will be three for $1, and children’s and teen novels will be 50 cents. Payments by cash or check only, please. Stop by to pick up your summer pool and beach reading!

All proceeds from this book sale will be donated to the Verona Public Library.

Since 1983, the Friends of the Verona Public Library have been supplementing the budget, services and public relations efforts of the Verona Public Library. Perhaps the most visible activity of the Friends is the organization and running of the library’s annual Book Sale. Over the years, the Friends have sorted, bagged, carted, and sold thousands of books. Activities like the sale, along with membership dues and donations, provide the group’s funding.

New members are always needed and welcome! Your membership dues are tax deductible, and all proceeds will go towards the enhancement of the Verona Public Library. Membership applications are available at the the Library, or you can print one out here.
