Richmond man charged with 17 counts of animal cruelty

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A Richmond man has been charged with 17 counts of animal cruelty.

Richmond Animal Care and Control said John E. Faircloth, 54, was arrested and charged with one felony cruelty count and 16 additional cruelty counts along with 18 counts of noncompliance for not having a city license or breeder’s permit.

RACC said the arrest was made after it was alerted to activity at Faircloth’s residence.
