Man shot in leg while standing along Richmond roadway

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Police say a man was shot in the leg while standing on Chesterman Avenue in Richmond on Friday.
Police said his injury was non-life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Richmond Major Crimes Detectives are investigating.
There is no suspect information at this time.
Police did not release any additional details.
