RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - An SUV crashed into the Hull Street Branch Library just minutes before Mayor Levar Stoney was set to hold a press conference Friday morning.

Two vehicles - an SUV and a car - were involved in the accident. The SUV ended up crashing into the side of the building.

One person was taken to a hospital for their injuries.

Officials say Mayor Stoney will still hold his planned COVID-19 announcement, but it will be a little delayed.
