Deadly motorcycle crash in Town of Mazomanie

A Middleton man is dead after his motorcycle crashed in the Town of Mazomanie.
The Dane County Sheriff Office said the crash was reported around 5:13 p.m. on Thursday.
According to a press release. the crash happened on Highway 19 hear County Highway F. Officers say the driver, a 51-year-old man, was heading east on Highway 19 when he had trouble driving around a curve near the intersection for Highway 19. The driver drove off the road and crashed into a wooded area.
The man suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital by Med Flight, where he was pronounced dead.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family.
The investigation shows the man was wearing a helmet when the accident happened.
