Festival Foods to open new store in Verona

Festival Foods plans to open its doors at a new location in Verona on Oct. 11.

The 67,000-square-foot store will be Festival Foods' 33rd location in Wisconsin, according to a news release. Company officials said the store will be open 24 hours and employ an estimated 250 associates.

“Most important to us is building relationships with our associates, our guests and our communities, so we are looking forward to getting started on building those relationships in Verona," president and CEO Mark Skogen said in the release.

The Verona location on Hometown Circle will feature energy-saving equipment and a Hometown Café. The store will also offer a Tot Spot, which is a supervised in-store child care service. A brat stand will also be available for nonprofit fundraisers.
