Fire in Pleasant Springs causes $200,000 in damage

Fire crews battled a structure fire in the Town of Pleasant Springs early Saturday morning.
According to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff's Office, the fire broke out in a shed on the 2800 block of County Highway MN around 1:30 a.m.
Neighbors and the home owner reported hearing an explosion and seeing fire and smoke coming from the shed.
The contents of the shed included a bobcat, a boat, two motorcycles, and various other pieces of equipment.
Everything is considered a total loss with the owner estimating damage in excess of $200,000. There were no injuries reported and the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
