Snow emergencies declared in viewing area
Another snowstorm is expected to hit southwestern Wisconsin on Monday, Jan. 28.
Snow emergencies are declared for the following area communities ahead of Monday's anticipated storm:
From 11 p.m. on Jan. 27 through 12 p.m. on Jan. 29.
During the snow emergency, do not park any vehicle on any street in Monona.
From 5 p.m. on Jan. 27 through 7 a.m. on Jan. 29.
During the snow emergency, any vehicle left on the street is subject to being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. All even and odd side parking will be suspended during this time.
From 6p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 through 6p.m. Monday, Jan. 28
During the snow emergency Vehicles are prohibited from parking or standing on city streets.
From 11 p.m. Sunday, Jan 27. through 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29
During the snow emergency, any vehicle left on the street can be ticketed and may be towed.
- Sunshine Supper, a weekly free community meal in Sun Prairie, is cancelled for Monday, Jan. 28.
- The Sunshine Place and Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry are closed on Monday, Jan. 28.
From 10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 through 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28.
From 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 through 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29.
No street parking is allowed during the 48 hour until it has been cancelled. Residents who have no off-street parking available are encouraged to utilize municipal parking lots in Veteran’s Park on Farnham Street and Howard Street or the municipal parking lot on Main Street or make arrangements with neighbors, relatives or friends to avoid a potential $30 fine and having their vehicle towed.

No on-street parking will be allowed until cancelled by the streets department.
From 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 through 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28.
No vehicles are allowed to be parked on any Village street or roadway, without exception.
From 10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 until plow operations are complete.
All parked vehicles must be removed from City streets and public parking lots.
Snow emergency is in effect until 7a.m. Jan. 29th and may be extended.
Alternate side parking restrictions will be in effect.
Trash and recycling collection will be suspended Monday.
