STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WCMH) – An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper was injured Thursday when a truck hit his cruiser.

It happened along Interstate 77 near Shuffel Street in Stark County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the trooper was investigating a crash when his cruiser was struck by the commercial vehicle. Both the trooper and those involved in the previous crash were injured.

The patrol says everyone is expected to be okay.

The patrol wants to remind people to move over for stationary public safety vehicles with lights activated.
