Get your best Carrie Bradshaw outfit together and grab a Cosmo because “Sex and the City” is coming to Chicago – in the form of a pop-up bar.
Dubbing itself Cosmo Carrie’s, Ironside Bar and Galley is transforming its lower level just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The bar, which is open from 6 p.m. to midnight Wednesdays through Saturdays, will be in place through March 20, according to the restaurant. It will feature cutouts of the iconic show characters, vintage mirrors, cosmopolitan cocktail art and a lot of pink finishes.
There will be martinis named for each of the show’s leading ladies- Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda – and other themed cocktails like the “Mr. Big Takes on Manhattan” and the “Jack Berger Blood Orange Negroni.”
Reservations are not accepted but the restaurant said walk-ins are welcome.
This will not be Ironside’s first pop-up experience. The bar and restaurant made headlines after launching a ‘90210’-themed pop-up last year.
