23-Year-Old Man Killed in NH Crash

Police are investigating after a 23-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and died in a crash overnight in Hollis, New Hampshire.

Matthew Wing of Hollis was traveling westbound on Proctor Hill Road without a seatbelt on around 2:05 a.m. Friday when his 2011 Honda CRV swerved off the road 70 feet down the street’s shoulder and into a tree, police said. Officials believe Wing may have over-corrected his steering and gone into a high-speed drift.

Wing, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where he later died.

Investigators are still working to determine if speed played a factor in the crash. Police said there were no obvious signs of alcohol use.

Anyone who witnessed the deadly crash is asked to contact Hollis police at 603-465-7697.
