At least one person was injured Monday afternoon following a shooting in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood, according to police.
Officers responded to the intersection of Vine and Mt. Pleasant avenues just before 2:30 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
A male victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
A construction worker nearby told NBC10 Boston a man ran into a community center with a bloody hand looking for help. The extent of the man's injuries was unclear.
K9 officers were on the scene gathering evidence.
