Wizard World Madison is once again teaming up with the Madison Reading Project to help bring books to kids in need.
Madison Reading Project is a nonprofit that offers literacy programs and distributes books at no charge to under served kids at various locations throughout South Central Wisconsin. Learn more about the program by visiting their website.
To help support this program, Wizard World is asking fans to donate age-appropriate comics, graphic novels, science fiction books, and other similar materials at next weekend’s event. There will be a donation box near the Special Guest Registration desk.
In addition, according to their website, fans who choose to donate two or more items to the project will receive a special gift.
As a Thank You, fans who donate two or more items to Madison Reading Project during Wizard World Madison will receive a free pre-autographed celebrity photo from a selection of previous Wizard World guests. These photographs are available to fans on a first-come, first-served basis while supply lasts, one per family donation per day.
So come on out to Wizard World Madison and help inspire a love of comics and reading while enjoying the convention! Wizard World Madison runs from October 25-27 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
