NEWARK - The following restaurant inspections with critical violations were conducted by the Licking County Health Department between April 15 to 19.

  • Dairy Isle, 303 1/2 S 30th St, Heath, April 15. Foot long hot dogs were holding at 127 degrees Fahrenheit (critical, corrected during inspection).
  • Kroger, 910 Hebron Road, Heath, April 17. A significant amount of fruit flies were underneath the sink in the Starbucks (critical repeat).
  • Subway, 1134 Hebron Road, Heath, April 17. Salami and pepperoni were observed holding at 48 degrees Fahrenheit (critical, corrected during inspection).
  • Louie's Corner House, 11174 Hebron Road, Buckeye Lake, April 19. Food equipment surfaces not cleaned at required frequency, bar hose holder (critical, corrected during inspection).
  • Snapshots Coffee & Kitchen, 1843 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, April 19. Raw chorizo stored above eggs in walk in cooler (critical, corrected during inspection).
  • Duchess Shoppe, 1919 Mt. Vernon Road, Newark, April 19. Pest droppings were in the back room and underneath shelving by the office entrance (critical).
