Four sentenced for theft in Licking County Municipal Court

NEWARK - The following people were sentenced for misdemeanor offenses in Licking County Municipal Court. The Advocate publishes sentences where court costs and fees exceed $500 and sentences with jail time of any kind.

Scott Dekatch, 48, of Zanesville, domestic violence, $185.70 and 180 days in jail with 150 suspended and credit for 30, and a year of probation.

Joshua Nutter, 29, of Newark, theft, $373 and 30 days in jail with 30 suspended, and a year of probation.

Calab J. Mann, 29, of Newark, theft, $392.75 and 90 days in jail with 90 suspended, and a year of probation.

Dalton Perry, 22, of Heath, carrying concealed weapon, $410 and 60 days in jail with 59 suspended and credit for one, and a year of probation.

Joshua Freed, 37, of Newark, disorderly conduct and domestic violence, $578 and 20 days in jail with 10 suspended and credit for one, and a year of probation.

Steven D. Phillips, 37, of Ashville, physical control/under influence, $665 and 90 days in jail with 87 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Jeffrey S. Callander, 63, of Etna, disorderly conduct persistent, $458.50 and seven days in jail with credit for one.

Caleb J. Mann, 29, of Newark, theft, $491 and 90 days in jail with 90 suspended, and a year of probation.

Brenda M. Stewart, 52, of Newark, disorderly conduct, $383.70 and 30 days in jail with 30 suspended, and a year of probation.

Sean Young, 42, of Thornville, disorderly conduct, $326 and one day in jail with credit for one.

Jack Kesterson, 38, of Newark, assault, $128 and 30 days in jail.

Adam Williams, 23, of Newark, criminal trespass, $216 and 14 days in jail with credit for 14.

Kristen Kerntz, 32, of Williamsville, violate protection order, $342 and 10 days in jail with 10 suspended, and 30 days of probation.

Michael Day, 32, of Newark, menacing, $406 and 30 days in jail with 30 suspended, and a year of probation.

Larry E. Royster II, 39, of Newark, 911 system prohibited conduct, $421 and 30 days in jail with 30 suspended, and a year of probation.

Calab J. Mann, 29, of Newark, theft, $531.70 and 90 days in jail with 83 suspended, and a year of probation.

Matthew L. McKee, 42, of Newark, assault, 90 days in jail with 72 suspended and credit for 18, and a year of probation.

Marquis A. Batts, 23, of Newark, unlawful restraint, $412 and 60 days in jail with 60 suspended and 730 days of probation.

Lane Gibson, 33, of Newark, menacing a police officer and obstructing official business, $365 and 60 days in jail with a year of probation.

Randi Wagner, 35, of Newark, criminal trespass, $385 and 30 days in jail with 30 suspended, and a year of probation.

William D. Andrews, 56, of Newark, first offense OVI and refusal, $721 and 90 days in jail with 84 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Zachary B. Gregory, 26, of Blacklick, second offense OVI and failure to maintain control, $882 and 90 days in jail with 80 suspended and a year of probation.

Stephanie M. Reynard, 37, of Newark, first offense OVI and driving within marked lanes, $760 and 90 days in jail with 87 suspended and credit for three and a year of probation.
