Newark man indicted in alleged child pornography download

NEWARK - The following people were indicted for felony offenses in Licking County Common Pleas Court.

Percy J. Kinney, 27, last known address 10 Western Ave., Newark, was charged with one count each of violating protection order, a fifth-degree felony; and criminal damaging, a first-degree misdemeanor.

On Feb. 4, Kinney was suspected of violating the terms of a protection order after being convicted of protection order violation in Licking County Municipal Court, and the violation created a risk of physical harm to another person, according the indictment.

James H. King, 51, last known address 315 Mt. Vernon Road, Newark, was charged with one count of aggravated arson, a first-degree felony.

On Dec. 30, 2016, King was suspected of creating a risk of serious physical harm to another person by means of fire or explosion, according to the indictment.

Thomas H. Ross, 51, last known address 308 Wilson St., Newark, was charged with one count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony.

On Jan. 23, Ross was suspected of transporting or having a loaded firearm in a vehicle that was accessible to the operator or passengers, according to the indictment.

Hubert A. Puckett II, 31, last known address 193 Monroe St., Newark, was charged with one count each of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony; trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; and escape, a second-degree felony.

On Oct. 1, Puckett was suspected of selling or offering to sell methamphetamine, on Oct. 16, he was suspected of selling or offering to sell heroin, on Nov. 23, he was suspected of having methamphetamine and heroin, and on Feb. 8, he was suspected of escaping or failing to return to detention, according to the indictment.

Leonard F. Wenman, Jr., 40, last known address 244 Briarwood Dr., Johnstown, was charged with one count each aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor.

On March 30, Wenman was suspected of having methamphetamine, tampering with evidence, and obstructing official business, according to the indictment.

Travis C. Herendeen, 41, last known address 229 Mt. Vernon Road, Newark, was charged with one count of burglary, a second-degree felony.

On Nov. 25, Herendeen was suspected of trespassing into an occupied structure with intent to commit another criminal offense, according to the indictment.

Chad E. Harmon, 44, last known address 271 O'Bannon Ave., Newark, was charged with six counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, all second-degree felonies; and one count of pandering obscenity, a fourth-degree felony.

Between July 20, 2017 and Nov. 16, 2018, Harmon was suspected of advertising for sale or dissemination, selling, distributing, transporting, disseminating, exhibiting, or displaying material showing a minor participating in sexual activity, and creating, reproducing, or publishing any obscene material, according to the indictment.

Trequan A. Claytor, 23, last known address 963 Grafton Road, Apartment B, Newark, was charged with one count each of theft, a fourth-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony; and failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, a third-degree felony.

On Dec. 2, Claytor was suspected of stealing a vehicle, and on Dec. 3, he was suspected of having methamphetamine and fleeing from police, according to the indictment.

Shawnisha M. Hadnot, 32, last known address 994 Village Green Court, Newark, was charged with one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a second-degree felony.

On Jan. 31, Hadnot was suspected of distributing or preparing to distribute methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Jeremy S. Yoder, 28, last known address 21 Wilwood Ave., Newark, was charged with one count of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony.

On Dec. 14, Yoder was suspected of causing or attempting to cause physical harm to a family or household member while the victim was pregnant, according to the indictment.

Pharahn Hairston, 24, last known address 83 Montgomery Place, Newark, was charged with one count of felonious assault,  a second-degree felony.

On Jan. 13, Hairston was suspected of causing physical harm to another person or their unborn, according to the indictment.
