Arvind Kejriwal’s move towards sanitation workers in Delhi

Having said, “It feels dejected to hear about the deaths of sanitation workers” Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of the National Capital, on Monday said to provide the sanitation workers with the safety kits that would be provided free of cost to them.

While speaking at a workshop organised by Delhi Jal Board at Talkatora Stadium, he said, “We are concerned about the lives of sanitation workers and will give free safety kits to those working in Delhi so that no mishaps happen.” The workshop witnessed an active participation of around 4,000 sanitation workers.

The workshop was organised in order to enhance the skills of the sanitation workers in the National Capital along with creating awareness among them about the use of these safety kits. Vice Chairman of DJB, Dinesh Mohaniya said, “There are around 12,000 sanitation workers with DJB and around 4,000 joined the workshop.”
