EDITOR: I just finished wiping my tears from my eyes after reading the report about the movie theater in Roxbury Township closing permanently.
I feel like my very best friend has died. I patronized that theater for many years. I fondly recall my father transporting me to and from the theater when I was much younger.
And as I grew older, I transported myself to and from the theater. I don't recall the very first film I ever saw at that theater, but one of the first was "Creepshow" (1982). The age of that film reveals the period of time I had patronized the theater. The movie theater in Roxbury Township served the patrons well and will be missed sincerely.
