Seinfeld is the star and co-creator of "Seinfeld," one of the most popular sitcoms in TV history. Even though the series ended in 1998, its rerun episodes are a mainstay on cable TV.

A news release from Hammons Hall says that in recent years, Seinfeld recorded a stand-up special for Netflix, launched a web series called "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and has been performing at the Beacon Theatre in New York City as part of an ongoing residency.
