One of Springfield's Buffalo Wild Wings locations has closed

The Buffalo Wild Wings location on North Kansas Expressway closed Sunday when its lease expired. 

According to a note posted on the door of the restaurant, the eatery was closing after 11 years in business. 

The Kansas Expressway location is not the only Buffalo Wild Wings in Springfield — there is another restaurant at 900 E. Battlefield Road.

Media representatives from the company did not respond to a request for comment about the closure or whether another restaurant would be opening.
