ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany County district attorney has announced that he is running for re-election.
David Soares was first elected in 2004. He said he’s focused on pursuing and eliminating criminal enterprises, prosecuting sexual predators, and convicting animal abusers.
Soares was one of the first officials to speak out against the state’s criminal justice reforms that began on January 1.
