Albany Police are investigating three separate incidents where flags at private residences have been burned.

Police say they responded to a home on the 800 block of New Scotland Avenue on Thursday for a report that someone burned their Pride Flag. The victim stated that the flag was burned and left it on their front porch.

On Saturday, police say they responded to a home on the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue for a report that their Canadian flag was burned. The homeowner told officers that the flag was burned sometime between 5 p.m. Wednesday and midnight on Thursday. The flag was taken off the house during the incident and found on the sidewalk nearby.

Police also responded to a home on the 200 block of Hansen Avenue on Saturday for a South Korean flag that burned. The victim told officers that the flag was burned sometime between 5 p.m. Wednesday and the overnight hours. The flag was found in the driveway.

All three incidents remain under investigation.
