Sports Spotlight 6-1: G-E-T’s Bryce Burns

In football, Bryce played running back and middle linebacker. He made First-Team All-Conference in both positions in each of the last two years. Senior year he ran for over 1,400 yards and 22 touchdowns, while recording 119 tackles and eight for loss on defense, leading him to be named his conference’s Defensive Player of the Year and a Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Region on both sides of the ball.

In wrestling, he was a three-time Coulee Conference champion at 195 pounds and reached individual state each of the last three years.

Bryce will continue his education at Western Tech.
