A Workington man has been given a restraining order for harassing a woman via social media.
Alexander Bragg, 18, of Brierydale Lane, Stainburn, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment when he appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Workington, on Friday.
The court heard Bragg had repeatedly made unwanted contact with the woman through numerous Instagram accounts.
He was given a community order and a restraining order, banning him from contacting the woman until June 2022.
Bragg was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a surcharge to fund victim services of £115.
