A dangerous driver rammed a police car during a pursuit in Penrith.
Witnesses are being sought after the incident on Brentfield Way.
It happened at about 3pm on Sunday.
The car involved was a silver Ford C-Max, registration AK54 EHT.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused.
At one point the car reversed and rammed into a police vehicle, before driving off at high speed through the town centre.
The vehicle was later recovered by police.
No injuries were reported,
Cumbria Police want to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle or has dashcam footage.
They are particularly keen to speak to a pedestrian who witnessed the ramming. Call 101.
