A WHITEHAVEN man has been handed a court bill for over £2,000 after he was found guilty of harassing another man.
Stephen James Brough, 46, of Manesty Rise, appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Monday.
Earlier this year he had pleaded not guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour against Ian Potts with intent to cause him harassment alarm or distress.
But magistrates found Brough guilty of the offence, which took place on March 19 in Whitehaven.
Brough was fined £1,373 and must pay £620 costs and £137 victim surcharge.
