Farm equipment worth £1,000 has been stolen from a West Cumbrian village.

Police are appealing for information after two silver aluminium ramps, used to move plant machinery, were taken from Byersteads poultry farm, Sandwith, near Whitehaven.

The incident of theft occurred between 12pm on September 7 and 7am on September 9.
