Courteeners are to play a special warm-up gig in Carlisle later this month.
The band were one of the headlining highlights of this summer's Kendal Calling festival and make a swift return to the county to play The Sands Centre on November 27.
It is one of only two warm-up shows that have been quickly arranged by the Manchester trio before they play arena dates in London and Manchester.
One of the country's best-loved Indie bands, frontman Liam Fray recently revealed that they would be previewing tracks from their long-awaited sixth album More. Again. Forever. which is due for release in January.
He told NME: “I think we’ll drop a few to see how they go down. It’s brave to do that."
The new album features 10 new tracks, with two of them - Heavy Jacket and the title track - available digitally now.
Tickets for the Sands Centre show are priced £29.50 plus booking fee and are available from 9am on Friday.
