RETAIL bosses have revealed when late-night Christmas shopping will return to Carlisle.
The Lanes Shopping Centre will stay open later from next week.
Rather than closing at their usual time of 5.30pm, many retailers will be staying open until 9pm each Thursday, starting on November 21.
Stores including Debenhams, Deichmann, River Island and Katie Loxton are among those who will close late.
To celebrate the launch of the weekly evening shopping hours, the centre will mark the occasion with a day of festive entertainment, food and drink.
Santa will also make an appearance in his grotto in Centre Square between 3pm and 7pm.
All donations on the day will be gifted to Mission Christmas and CFM’s Cash for Kids charity.
